The Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Kwara State 11th Convocation Ceremony for the conferment of First Degrees and Award of Prizes has been scheduled for Saturday, 4th December, 2021.
Time: 10:00am
Venue: University Auditorium

As Salaam Alaekum Waramatulahi Wabarakatuhu.
The decision to conduct virtual convocation was based on the strict instruction from the NUC, Federal Ministry of Education and Kwara State Ministry of Tertiary Education Science and Technology. These supervising agencies had earlier sent separate Inspection teams to the University to assess our level of preparedness for re-opening in line with COVID-19 protocols.
The approval given to the University to re-open was based on the condition that students would resume in phases and the management must ensure strict compliance with safety guidelines on COVID-19.
Since then, all University programmes have been conducted virtually such as capacity building seminars for academic staff, conferences and institutional collaborative engagements.
It is therefore imperative that the University has to conduct virtual convocation in compliance with instructions from the regulatory bodies.
All graduands are assured that they will have the benefits of viewing the event live, while essential convocation items shall be couriered to their preferred locations for collection. The items are:
• Convocation Gown (to be returned)
• Convocation Programme & Graduating Photo Album
• Certificate scroll
In addition, each graduand will have his/her name cited at the Convocation venue with graduation photo shot.
While the University Management will ensure a hitch-free virtual convocation, all graduands are implored to fully cooperate and make us proud as deemed worthy in learning and character.
