The management of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has released the 2022/2023 academic session 1st,2nd,3rd & 4th Batch supplementary admission list.

How to Check FUTO Supplementary Admission List.

Follow the links below to access your admission status on FUTO’s portal:

1. Visit the FUTO admission status checking portal at https://portal.futo.edu.ng/modules/admission/CheckAdmissionStatusRegular.aspx.
2. Supply your JAMB registration number in the required column.
3. Finally, click on the ‘Submit’ button to access your FUTO admission status.

All Candidates offered 2022/2023 Supplementary Admissions MUST do the following to validate their admission and access same on CAPS:

1. Ensure that their O’level results have been uploaded on the JAMB portal.
2. Accept transfer to the admitted Departments by visiting the Transfer Approval Page on JAMB portal to accept the Courses offered to them.  This is to enable the Admissions Office to admit them on CAPs.
3. Change their first choice Courses on JAMB portal as directed below:
   • Candidates admitted into Agricultural Economics (AEC), Agricultural Extension (AEX), Animal Science & Technology (AST), Crop Science & Technology (CST), Soil Science & Technology (SST) and Agribusiness (AGB) should change to “AGRICULTURE”.
   • Candidates in Computer Engineering (COE) should change to “Cybersecurity”.
   • Candidates in Telecommunications Engineering should change to “Software Engineering”.

You can also access your FUTO admission status from JAMB admission status checking portal, follow the procedure outlined below:

1. Go jamb.org.ng/efacility.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your FUTO admission status.

The Federal University of Technology Owerri is a federal government university located in Owerri West, the capital of Imo State. The University is bounded by the communities of Eziobodo, Umuchima, Ihiagwa, and Obinze, in Imo State, Nigeria. The Federal University of Owerri is the Oldest University of Technology in Nigeria and was established in 1980 by Executive fiat with the composition and appointment of the first provisional Council by Nigeria’s First Executive President, Shehu Shagari.
