The Ghana Education Service is a Ghanaian government body established in 1974 as part of the Public Service of Ghana by NRCD 247 and was subsequently amended by NRCD 252, 357 and SMCD 63.

How to Check Ghana Education Service/ GES Shortlisted Candidate
A release signed and issued by the Director of the Human Resource Management Division (HRMD) of the GES, Mrs Adjoa Van Vicker, stated that “persons who do not meet all the requirements stateted below will not be shortlisted:
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has set requirement guidelines to recruit qualified newly trained teachers for the 2023/2024 academic year.
Per the guidelines, candidates who wish to be considered for employment as teachers under the GES should have completed and passed the final-year College of Education Examination,
Additionally, the candidate’s must have completed the mandatory national service and passed the Teacher Licensure Examination.
Such candidates should be prepared and ready to work wherever they will be posted by the Graduates.
