The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have made it a point of duty every year to always clear the public on how many candidates registered JAMB in a particular year and the schools they apply for, how the performance of the candidates went, and the candidate that scores the highest mark in jamb, most top 10 candidate with their full details.

JAMB Result Highest Scores 2023/2024

Jamb candidate with the highest scores for 2023 is now out. According to a presentation by the registrar of the board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, Adebayo.

Anambra State Student Tops the Chart

Nkechinyere, who sat for the examination in Ogun State, secured the highest score of 360 out of a possible 400. A prospective student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), she aspires to study Chemical Engineering. Her remarkable performance has been well-received and adds to the growing evidence of academic excellence among Nigerian students.

Second Place: Edo State’s Bright Spark

Aguele Stephen Oseruha, also showing immense academic prowess, scored 358 to earn the position of the second-best candidate in the 2023 UTME. He sat for the examination in his home state, Edo, and has applied to the University of Benin (UNIBEN) where he intends to study Computer Engineering.

A Tie for the Third Position

In a surprising turn of events, the third position was tightly contested and resulted in a tie. Ositade Oluwafemi Anthony from Ogun State, who also took the examination in Ogun State, managed to score an impressive 358, identical to the second-best score. Like Oseruha, Anthony is looking forward to studying Computer Engineering and has chosen the University of Lagos (UNILAG) as his preferred institution.

An Official Disclosure

The JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, made these disclosures during the 2023 Policy Meeting held in Abuja on Saturday. The meeting, which consisted of the heads of tertiary institutions in Nigeria, deliberated and decided on the criteria for the 2023 admission into all tertiary institutions.

  1. JAMB used to post JAMB first twenty highest scorers but why is the latest exceptional. Please JAMB should kindly do

    • That will be done after their annual meeting for 2021. JAMB Annual meeting is to discuss about cut off marks for the year for all tertiary institution, and also publish the names of top 20 candidate that have the highest jamb score for the year 2021.

  2. I know a student of Baptist Academy, Obanikoro Lagos that score 351 in this year 2022 UTME he is from Lagos State

  3. How sincere is the statistic? My students by name Isaac Daber from Plateau State Scored 343 while Jesse Mario Emefele scored 340 in Jamb, and Isaac name is not amongst the top ten why
