IAUE Convocation Ceremony

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, is pleased to announce its 41st Convocation Ceremony. The ceremony is scheduled to hold on Friday, April 21st, 2023, for the award of Bachelor’s Degrees and Saturday, April 22nd, 2023, for the award of Doctorate Degrees, Master’s Degrees, and Postgraduate Diplomas. The University community and the general public are hereby invited to participate in the events lined up for the ceremony.

Commencement of Collection of Convocation Gowns from Various Faculties.

Sunday, April 16th, 2023:

Event: 41st Convocation Church Service
Time: 10:00 AM
Venue: St. Augustine Catholic Chaplaincy, Rumuolumeni Campus

Wednesday, April 19th, 2023:

I. Event: Convocation Lecture
Topic: The Crisis in the Nigerian Public University System: Can State Universities Come to the Rescue?
Speaker: Prof. Ndowa E.S. Lale (Former Vice Chancellor, UNIPORT)
Venue: University Auditorium
Time: 10:00 AM

II. Event: Cocktail Party
Venue: Senior Staff Club, Main Campus
Time: 2:00 PM Prompt

III. Event: Leisure/Recreation (Dancing, Drama & Comedy)
Venue: Seaside Theatre, Main Campus
