About NDDC

Which Year Was NNDC in Nigeria Founded? – The Niger Delta Development Commission is a federal government agency established by Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo in the year 2000 with the sole mandate of developing the oil-rich Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

In September 2008, President Umaru Yar’Adua announced the formation of a Niger Delta Ministry, with the Niger Delta Development Commission to become a parastatal under the ministry. One of the core mandates of the Commission is to train and educate the youths of the oil rich Niger Delta regions to curb hostilities and militancy, while developing key infrastructure to promote diversification and productivity.

NDDC Recruitment 2022/2023 Requirements

• A B.Sc., HND, NCE, OND in any discipline from a recognized institution
• Also, applicants must not be above 35 years old
• Additionally, West African School Certificate (WASC) or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) with Credits in not less than three (3) subjects including English and at least passes in two (2) other subjects; or
• National Examination Council (NECO)/General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level with passes in four (4) subjects obtained at one sitting or five (5) subjects obtained at two sittings including English Language.)
• Also, National Diploma (ND) obtained from a recognized institution. National Certificate of Education (NCE) from a recognized institution; or
• General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in two (2) subjects obtained at one sitting or three (3) subjects obtained at two sittings.
• Also, must be a Nigerian citizen not below 18 years or above 50 years.
• Also, first Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower. HND  / ND holders should have a minimum of Lower Credit.
• Candidates must be medically fit and would be screened to be certified so if shortlisted
• Also, must have an NYSC Discharge certificate.
• Professional certification is compulsory.
