This is to inform all the Nigerian Airforce Shortlisted Airmen/Airwomen Candidates that participated in the Nigerian Air Force (NAF)  Zonal Recruitment Exercise conducted nationwide to check their names from the list released earlier today.

All the shortlisted candidates are to report at the NAF Base, Kawo – Kaduna. Candidates are to report with the following:

  • Originals & Photocopies of their Credentials,
  • 2 White Vests,
  • 2 Blue PT Shorts,
  • One Pair of Canvas Shoes,
  • 4 Passport Photographs,
  • Face Masks &
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Scratch Card (as applicable) for WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB. online confirmation of result
  • National Identity Number Slip (NINS)

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

The underlisted candidates, who were successful at the Nigerian Air Force 2023 DRC/DSSC Medical Special. Enlistment Interview, are to report for training at Nigerian AIr Force Base Kawo Kaduna. Candidates are to report with the following:

  1. Original Credentials.
  2. 2 White T Shirts.
  3. 2 Blue PT Shorts.
  4. 2 Pairs of White Canvas.
  5. 3 Pairs of White Socks.
  6. 2 Pairs of Mufti Dress.
  7. 2 White Shirts.

The list of successful Batch A and B candidates published online are to resume training at the Nigerian Air Force Base Kawo Kaduna.

According to Wikipedia, The Nigerian Air Force is the air branch of the Nigerian Armed Forces. It is one of the largest in Africa, consisting of about 15,000 personnel and aircraft including 12 Chinese Chengdu F-7s, 3 JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter, 13 Dassault-Dornier Alpha Jets, 12 Embraer EMB 314 Super Tucano, Helicopter gunships, armed attack drones and military transport aircraft.

Although an Air Force was originally proposed in 1958, many lawmakers preferred to rely on the United Kingdom for air defence. But during peacekeeping operations in Congo and Tanganyika, the Nigerian Army had no air transport of its own, and so in 1962, the government began to recruit cadets for pilot training in various foreign countries, with the first ten being taught by the Egyptian Air Force.
