Npower Beneficiaries Frown At Nasims New Year Wishes Over Delayed Payment Of Stipends

Npower Volunteers has frowned at Nasims’ new year wishes for over continous delay of the batch c stream 2 three-month stipends payment.

This frowning resulted from an update posted by the Npower programme Nasims administration via their social media outlets, as seen in the image above.

Below Nasims’ post wishing the volunteers a happy new year, the volunteers could be seen moaning.

Although regretful, Npower management has acknowledged that they have not met their duties to beneficiaries in the Batch C2 graduate category. Nevertheless, they added, “We are trying to turn things around in this new year. While we work on that, kindly be focused and optimistic”.

In order to give adolescents employability and entrepreneurship skills, the President Buhari Administration launched the Npower programme in 2016. And ever since the programme began, three groups of Npower recipients.

Npower beneficiaries beg FG for start-up loan 18 months after exit

Npower latest update and news has been released for today. Beneficiaries of the Federal Government Social Investment Programme (SIP) in Bauchi State have appealed to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Dr Sadiya Umar Farouq, to fulfil the promise of a start-up package for exited participants.

The leader of the Npower beneficiaries in the state, Salihu Umar, yesterday, said that they appreciate the government’s efforts to allow them to volunteer for over three years, in addition to training them in March after which they submitted their business plans.

“It would be recalled that in March 2022, the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development in conjunction with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) organised an entrepreneurial training for beneficiaries, where the participants submitted business plans, with a promise by the government to provide financial support.

“At this point, the peaceful and law-abiding Npower beneficiaries in Bauchi State on behalf of all other beneficiaries in Nigeria are appealing to President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, through the office of the minister to fulfil the long-awaited promise to Npower volunteers for them to become self-reliant.”

Umar urged beneficiaries to be prayerful, and optimistic and remain calm as they await the disbursement from the government.
