UACE Result Checker: The Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education, UACE Results for 2023/2024 has been released by the Uganda National Examination Board, UNEB, www.uneb.ac.ug.

The management of the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) has released the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education, UACE_Results 2023-2024 – Students that wrote the exams are to follow the procedures below to check your Result on UNEB eReg Portal. www.uneb.ac.ug.

Note that you can check your UNEB UACE Results Online or by SMS as described below. UNEB UACE Results results have been successfully uploaded online, follow the below steps to check your result:

How to Check UACE Results Online:

1. Visit the UNEB eReg Portal via https://ereg.uneb.ac.ug/results
2. On the Results Page, Enter your Index Number.
3. Click on Search and wait for your results to show up on the next page.

Is UACE Result Out for 2023/2024?

The Minister for Education and Sports has released the 2023 Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) results (Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) Results). (http://uneb.ac.ug/)

How to Check UACE Results via SMS:

This is done by sending a simple SMS to 6600.

• For P7 UNEB PLE Results, go to messages on your phone and type PLE <space> Index No e.g. PLE 000001/001 and send this to 6600.
• For S4 UNEB UCE Results, go to messages on your phone and type UCE <space> Index No e.g. UCE U0001/001 and send this to 6600.
• For S6 UNEB UACE Results, go to messages on your phone and type UACE <space> Index No e.g. UACE U0001/501 and send this to 6600.
• For Technical Institute results, go to messages on your phone and type TECH <space> Index No e.g. TECH UT002/0001 and send this to 6600.

Note: This Service Cost Ushs 500 for Each SMS you Send. You will then receive your Exam Result details instantly.

How to Access PLE Results using your Phone

Accessing the 2023 PLE Results

All is set for the release of the 2020 to 2022 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results.  The venue for the scientific release is State House, Entebbe, starting at 11:00 AM.  The ceremony will be broadcast live on all National Television and Radio stations, as well as other social media channels.

Candidates, parents and other interested parties may use the Short Message Services (SMS) on mobile telecom networks which will post the results of candidates on their mobile sets instantly.  This will be done by typing PLE <Space> Full Index Number of the candidate, e.g. 003301/368 and send to 6600 on all mobile telecom networks.

School Administrators will be able to download the results from the examination centre portals as they are officially released. No hard copies of the results will be available at the UNEB offices for now, until a later date when conditions permit. When that time comes, UNEB will officially inform the District, Municipal and City Inspectors of Schools to collect the hard copies of the results from UNEB offices.

UACE Minimum Requirements:

• Only candidates who have passed UCE (Grades 1, 2, 3, and 4) and obtained the Uganda Certificate of Education, or an equivalent qualification, and have pursued an Advanced Level course of at least two years can be registered for UACE examination. Candidates registering under UPOLET must be those who sat UACE in 2014 only.

UACE grading system in Uganda:

At A-level, the final examination is known as Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Examination (UACE). The grading is as follows

• 80% -100% – D1
• 75% – 79% – D2
• 70% – 74% – Credit 3
• 65% – 69% – Credit 4
• 60% – 64% – Credit 5
• 55% – 59% – Credit 6
• 45% – 54% – Pass 7
• 35% – 44% – Pass 8
• 00 – 34% – Failure
