The management of Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto (UDUSOK) has released the 2019/2020 academic session Resumption Date.

Closure of all academic activities in the University

Further to our earlier circular with Ref. No. UDUS/R/ACAD/SS.31B of 20^th March, 2020, this is to inform members of the University community that the National Universities Commission (NUC) vide circular NUC/ES/138/VOL.96 dated

8^th May, 2020, has directed that “all Schools shall remain closed” as the Federal Government is closely monitoring developments on the containment of COVID-19. 

Consequently, the Vice Chancellor and Chairman of the Senate has on behalf of Senate directed that all academic activities in the University shall remain closed until further notice. This, however, is without prejudice to officers on essential services and other operational exigencies as may be determined by the Vice Chancellor.

By this circular, all students are hereby informed that Halls of Residence remain closed.

Notice of Scaling down of services at the Clinic

This is to inform all members of the University Community that due to the prevailing circumstances of COVID 19. The University management has approved that University clinic should scale down its services to only shift 8:00am to 4:00pm, every day, including Saturdays and Sundays.

This will commence with effect from Wednesday 22nd April 2020.

Any inconveniences caused by this action is regretted.

Newly admitted and returning students are expected to commence registration immediately upon resumption.
