UNILAG Registration Screening Procedures and Requirements- University of Lagos (UNILAG) Registration & Screening Procedure for 20201/2022 Newly Admitted Candidates is ongoing, candidate are advice to participate in the ongoing registration.

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has released the registration and screening procedure for the 2021/2022 academic session newly admitted UTME candidates.

UNILAG Registration Schedule for Newly Admitted Candidates

All newly admitted UTME and DIRECT ENTRY candidates are requested to report for registration from Monday, 24^th January to Friday, 11^th February, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily as scheduled below. Candidates are advised to follow the under listed registration schedule strictly.

DOCUMENTS FOR SCREENING/REGISTRATION:

Candidates are to make the following documents available in duplicates (i.e. 2 SETS, 1 COPY EACH) for Screening/Registration. All documents must be arranged in the order outlined below:

1. Two (2) copies of the Screening Form (Coloured and photocopy) (SIGN AND DATE)
2. UNILAG Online application form (FOR DIRECT ENTRY ONLY – Coloured and photocopy)
3. JAMB Admission Letter (Institution Copy – Coloured and photocopy)
4. UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy) (Not applicable to DIRECT Entry Candidates)
5. UNILAG Post-UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy) (JUPEB/OND/HND RESULT SLIP for DIRECT Entry candidates -Two {2} photocopies)
6. O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) OR an online version of the result (Two {2} photocopies) STATEMENT OF RESULT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE
7. Letter of Reference from a reputable Clergyman/Imam/Lawyer/ Senior Civil Servant (Typed on Letterhead paper, indicate Status in Office, indicate Pastor-in-Charge/Chief Imam, Lawyer to place Valid NBA Seal), addressed to The Registrar, University of Lagos (original and photocopy)
8. Birth Certificate/Sworn Declaration of Age (Two {2} photocopies)
9. Testimonial from Secondary School attended (Two {2} photocopies)
10. State of Origin Certificate (Two {2} photocopies)
11. Toxi cology Test Result (Two (2) photocopies)
12. Coloured Passport Photographs (12 Copies) All must be the same

NOTE: CANDIDATES ARE EXPECTED TO PRESENT ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS OF THE FOLLOWING FOR SIGHTING: (BIRTH CERTIFICATE, STATE OF ORIGIN CERTIFICATE, TESTIMONIAL, WAEC/NECO CERTIFICATE (IF AVAILABLE), CAMBRIDGE/JUPEB/OND/HND/B.Sc. RESULTS)

UNILAG Screening Procedure for Newly Admitted Candidates.

Stage 1: Uploading of Documents

Login to the Unilag Students Portal (www.unilag.edu.ng → students → student login) and fill the biodata form, print the Screening Form. Students are expected to upload the underlisted documents while filling the Biodata form:

• Birth Certificate
• Letter of Reference
• Testimonial from Secondary Schools attended
• Certificate of State of Origin
• JAMB Admission Letter
• Previous Degree Certificate (DE Students)

Stage 2: Screening

(A) Proceed to the Faculty for registration as scheduled

(B) Submit four copies of the underlisted documents to the Registration Officer:

1. Screening Form generated from stage 1 (Coloured and photocopy)
2. UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)
3. UNILAG Post-UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy) JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc. RESULT SLIP for DIRECT Entry candidates
4. O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) OR an online version of the result
5. Letter of Reference from a reputable Clergyman/Imam/Lawyer/ Senior Civil Servant, addressed to The Registrar, University of Lagos (original and photocopy)
6. Birth Certificate/Sworn Declaration of Age
7. Testimonial from Secondary School attended
8. State of Origin Certificate
9. JAMB Admission Letter (Institution Copy – Coloured and photocopy)
10. UNILAG Online application form (FOR DIRECT ENTRY ONLY)
11. Passport Photographs (12 Copies)

Stage 3: Payment of Fees

1. Generate pay advice
2. Proceed to any bank to make payment

Stage 4: Faculty/Departmental Registration

Proceed to the Faculty & Departments for further registration processes

IMPORTANT NOTICE

• Impersonation is a serious offence and anybody found guilty of this will automatically forfeit his/her admission and may be handed over to Security Operatives.
• DRUG USE: The University has zero tolerance for drug use; hence a compulsory test shall be conducted for all newly admitted students before or after registration. The admission of newly admitted students that test POSITIVE TO DRUG USE shall be withdrawn. UNILAG Registration.
