The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the resumption date for the commencement of online lectures for the second semester, 2022/2023 academic session.
University of Lagos Resumption Date
The administration of the University of Lagos has stated that the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic session would resume on Monday, October 24, 2022.
This comes after the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) decided to halt their strike, which required the University to reevaluate its academic calendar for the 2021/2022 academic session.
It should be noted that academic staff across federal universities, led by the ASUU, began a nationwide strike on Monday, February 14, 2022, resulting in the suspension of teaching activities at all federal universities, including the University of Lagos.
According to the new academic calendar for the 2021/2022 academic session, lectures will begin on Monday, October 24 and will last four weeks. First semester examinations will be held across all levels and faculties between Monday, November 28 and Saturday, December 10, 2022.
The second semester of the 2021/2022 academic session would begin on January 9, 2023 and end on May 20, 2023.
