What GPA is Required for Chevening Scholarship?

To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship, you must have a bachelor’s degree that will allow you to enrol in a postgraduate program at a UK university.

In the UK, this is typically equivalent to an upper second-class (2:1) honours degree. They also accept 2:2 grades. To get this right, it’s simply a minimum 3.5 GPA out of 4.

Who Can Apply for the Scholarship

Chevening provides outstanding emerging leaders from around the world with the opportunity to pursue a one-year master’s degree in the United Kingdom.

There is no such thing as a typical Chevening Scholar, but those who are successful have aspirations and leadership abilities.

They have a strong desire to affect positive change in their native lands.

If you meet the eligibility criteria and other requirements, you can apply. Chevening is unconcerned about your gender and age.

There is no upper age limit, sexual orientation, religion, marital or parental status, caste, class, or other characteristics.

Furthermore, What matters is your ability to submit a well-thought-out application that demonstrates you are capable of excelling in a rigorous master’s program in the UK and that you have a clear vision for your future.
